No data collection
ColorSense is an accessibility application that identifies colors in real time using the device's camera and announces them via text-to-speech.
- Does not collect, store, or share any personal information.
- Does not transmit any data outside your device. What happens on your phone, stays on your phone.
- Does not use analytics services, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries of any kind.
- Does not require an account or registration to use.
Camera permission
ColorSense requests camera access solely to capture the real-time image used for color detection. Frames are processed in memory and are never saved, uploaded, or shared. The camera is only active while the app is in the foreground and the user is actively using it.
Microphone & audio
ColorSense does not use the microphone. The app uses the device's text-to-speech engine to read color names aloud. All audio is generated locally; no voice data is sent to external servers.
This website
This support website does not directly collect personal information. It does not use cookies, advertising trackers, or analytics tools that identify individual visitors.
Privacy by design
ColorSense was built from the ground up to keep all processing on-device. We do not operate servers that handle your image data or usage patterns. Your camera feed, color history, and preferences never leave your phone.
